In the largest public park in downtown Paris, you'll find the Luxembourg Palace, now home to the French Senate. Visit the Medici Fountain, stroll beneath the chestnut trees, and take some time to relax on one of the park's signature green metal chairs. For children, there's a puppet theater, donkey rides, a playground, carousel, and a pond for sailing model boats.
