In 1936, Nemesio Camacho, one of the wealthier men of the city donated the land of his ranch called 'El Campin', with the condition that it was going to be used for sporting and recreational activities only. And so it began, the construction of the largest sports complex in the city, along with the Colosseum. 'El Campin', as its better known, is the stadium where all the matches of importance are dispute. It is also the home of football teams from Bogotá (Millonarios and Santafé).
